Let’s get judgy

I’ve been reading a little in the book of Judges and I found something at the beginning of that book that I want to share. Let’s start at Judges 3:5-10, “The Israelites lived among the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. They took their daughters in marriage and gave their own daughters to their sons, and served their gods. The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord; they forgot the Lord their God and served the Baals and the Asherahs. The anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that he sold them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram Naharaim, to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years. But when they cried out to the Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, who saved them. The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge and went to war.”

This is the cycle repeated through all of history. The book of Revelation refers to it this way. Revelation 2:12-17, “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double edged sword. I know where you live- where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city- where Satan lives. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: there are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.”

How are these two passages connected? The mixed marriage, not between races, but between people who follow God and people who follow Satan and paganism and ‘the gods’ aka the Baals. the Bible repeats this theme many times, it’s one of the most common concepts in scripture, it’s even the first commandment. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall no bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God, am a jealous God…

The concept of ‘the gods’ has been turned into ‘mythology’ in modern times. Just one more way the devil is performing his great trick of making the world think he doesn’t exist. But God, by His own finger, wrote in stone the dead giveaway. It isn’t random that He says, anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or int he waters below. These are the locations of the gods, each led by a lead god. You can learn more about the structure of the enemy kingdom reading ‘the call of Cthulhu’ by H.P. Lovecraft or watching Clash of the Titans than most people understand. To the average Joe these are just stories. The biggest lie is one they also tell about the Bible. They say it was all made up to teach principles and character. That wool is over too many unsuspecting eyes today.

America has this wool pulled over its eyes. The American religion isn’t Biblical or Christian for the most part, even though many people believe it is. We have mixed our views with the religion of the Baals. We have broken the first commandment and for years we have been oppressed by the kingdom of darkness. How does God deal with that? He raises up a Judge.

Ever notice that you can’t talk to someone for 5 minutes in this country without ‘don’t judge me’ coming into the conversation? The hyper aversion to judgement is a clear sign that we need it. Today, I believe God has raised up a judge for us. Someone to turn us back from the brink of absolute collapse and being over run. The Lord instructs us to follow the judge, repent and turn back to His ways, and be victorious over this mixed religion. He even has some gifts for us if we do.

“To the one who is victorious, I will give you some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.” One of the times I’ve met Jesus in a dream, it was for this purpose. He was giving me a white stone with a name on it. I didn’t understand at the time but now I believe He will raise me up to help others be victorious over Pergamum. May the light of understanding rest on you. May your calling be made clear and your opposition be revealed! May the Father teach you to overcome the world’s ways! May you grow in wisdom and knowledge and may God bless all y’all.
