I had another interesting dream while I was out of town. I was driving on the freeway and 4 rude guys were in front of me in a pickup truck. The truck was facing me and driving backwards on the freeway and the 4 guys were from Silicon Valley. I tried to pass the truck but they speed backwards and cut me off, then they started swerving through traffic. I backed off because it looked like they were about to have a wreck. Very quickly a shock came shooting out and then other parts of the vehicle. Soon parts of vehicles all over the freeway were losing parts so quickly that the freeway became difficult to navigate without running over a part.
This dream is pretty simple, it’s about 4 large tech companies that will be broken up because of their bad behavior. I find it interesting that their breakup will cause others around them to breakup. The information superhighway will be run by smaller companies than it is now with some exceptions because some of the cars didn’t fly apart. I can think of one major tech company that recently moved from Silicon Valley and could grow instead of breaking apart. It will start as a ‘shock’.
I had a long work dream last night but I didn’t understand much about it so I was just going to skip that one and talk about something cool I read in the Bible this morning! I started a couple of new Bible in a year reading plans this week so I was back in Genesis. In Genesis 2:18 it says, “Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Now I’ve read this verse more times than I could count but today the Lord taught me something new.
As I heard the verse I remembered that Jesus is the last Adam and that the Eve was a type of the church. The Lord was teaching me about this a few weeks ago, how the church is mother of all living or all who will have eternal life. How the bride produces the fruit of the offspring of Jesus, the sons of God, the sons of the Kingdom.
In that context I read that Eve was created to be a ‘helper fit for him’! The church was created to help Jesus! That says something about the nature of sin in the church too because Eve was so easily deceived by the serpent, tempted by the knowledge of good and evil instead of knowing God to be like Him. This action separated the physical and spiritual Kingdom and created the god of this world, the serpent, the god of the natural kingdom or nature. The god who created the other gods and heroes and perverted creation and destroyed the earth.
However, this also says something amazing about our created value as the church! We, follow after the Last Adam and our desire is for Him, are a helper fit for Jesus! His work in the earth is done through us! Our role in this world is to help Jesus to, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea (God’s people) and over the birds of the heavens (the spiritual world) and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” The Bible calls Jesus the visible image on the invisible God but so is the Bride! We are a team, He thinks we are beautiful and a fit helper for Him! He loves us, He works with us and when we draw near to Him, He will certainly draw near to us! May the Lord bless you with Him image! May you know the truth of His love for you! May you despise the serpent and desire your husband! May you bring forth children with Joy into the Kingdom of God! May you know that He made you fit for Him, that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and may God bless all y’all.
