Eyes to see

I had a very long night in dream land. It was like watching a 9 hour movie marathon but one stood out above them all. Although the corporate espionage one was pretty interesting! But time is short today so I will stick with this one. I was at my workplace and I was going to see the dentist about my daughters teeth. On the way I passed a wall full of glasses and realized that our company also provided custom eyewear for all employees. I wasn’t interested in that and went on to see the dentist but the eye doctor found me in the halls. He told me that I should really come into his office and get fitted for custom glasses. I told him that I didn’t want to do that but he was very insistent. So I reluctantly said yes and was off to get my glasses. Oh, did I mention that I was brushing my teeth during the entire dream? Yeah that happened.

For you dream heads out there, this is clearly about my spiritual vision. The Lord is bringing me into a place of clarity and understanding. He is adjusting my vision to ensure that I know what to do. I’ve been reluctant to do what I am supposed to do. In my mind, I just can’t figure out my calling but in His eyes it is obvious. God is going to give me eyes to see what He sees. May I suggest that He wants to give us all eyes to see and a clear vision of His purpose for our lives. Seek those same eyes to see and He will light your path right before your eyes.

Ok let’s jump into the Psalms again, I think these will last for like a week. It exercises the spirit of prophecy when we find Jesus on every page. This is more than a bible study, it is a pathway to grow in your ability to hear God’s voice. I think Psalms 72 it a good place to find the testimony of Jesus.

“Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to the royal son!” I think we see the Son of God, the King who revelation 19 says “in righteousness he judges”. “May He judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice!” Yeah I think we are talking about the same guy here:)

“May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!” We are talking about a ruler of all people’s. Clearly the king of Israel is not speaking about himself here, but from his position with God he can see what Jesus will be like one day. This is an end times statement when the Lord returns to reign over the earth.

“May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed! Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory!” Wow! We see that the God of Israel would send a man whose name would endure forever like the name of God! He would bless all people across the world and they would all bless Him!

“The prayers of David, the son of Jesse, are ended.” This is not just the last statement that David makes in the Bible, this is also a prayer. We need to pray Jesus if we are to prophesy the way David did. May the good things of the Lord Jesus be yours forever! May you know Him and grow in your interaction with Him! May you bless the nations the way he blesses the nations of the earth! With truth, justice and righteousness! Today we read Psalms 70-89 which means tomorrow we get to read Psalms 91!! I hope that you can read along with us. May the Lord reveal Himself on every page. May He build up your ability to hear His voice. May you walk with the Lord and see His Kingdom come to the earth and may God bless all y’all.
